Edgar, Benjy, Gideon, Fabian, Agnes, Al, Dorcas, Dedalus, Meaghan. Nine in nine months.

... Caradoc's lost his wife and his unborn child twice. They're killing pregnant women, they're killing LITTLE KIDS and these are the people who are RUNNING OUR GOVERNMENT. I'm almost glad Remus is against ever having kids. What kind of fucked up world would we be bringing them into? There are times when I'm almost... relieved, I suppose, that the others aren't around to see how bad things have gotten, or how much worse they're going to get. I hate myself a little for thinking that way.

I don't know what to do. We're not planning anything that is actually going to stop them. Our experience, our abilities, our morals won't let us do what's actually necessary. We're only planning things that will annoy them, and a lot of good that will do. We're an irritating thorn in their side that can only poke at them for so long before they destroy the entire rosebush it came from.

Why are we bothering? We can't win this, fighting this way. Why are we not doing as much damage as we can until they catch up to us? Why is giving them a taste of their own medicine so wrong if it stops them from bringing more hurt and more pain and more death to innocent people, people who have NOTHING to do with this? Most of them aren't born killers. Their society mindwarps them into being like this, I know that. So how is it not HELPING THEM ALONG to hold back and let that society of bloodism and murder spread even further than it already has? How isn't it JUST as immoral to sit back and know that these people aren't going to stop. They're not. They won't. Instigating them, irritating them doesn't make them kill. They would kill anyway.

Pissing them off just makes their targets more specific.

I know I've said it a million times but be careful with this wedding stuff, alright?

[/Remus]

I had no idea when I was younger just how depressing some of the songs that I loved could be. I think it's because kids tend to be drawn towards the actual music rather than the lyrics, and it's not til later that you can look back and realise just how dark they were.

Alright, as long as you're sure. If you weren't there is no way that you'd be going. We'd make Sirius go and say that part of your injury involved getting hit in the face with something.

It's ridiculous. I have a hard time wrapping my brain around how someone could kill anyone. And why Meg and Kirley? They didn't do anything to anyone.

I was just telling Meg yesterday that it would get better.I believed it then and I think I still do. It's so hard to be optimistic but I have to be or I'll just give up. I'm just at a loss at what I'm supposed to do next.

All I want to do is go to work and go on air to tell everyone that Death Eaters murdered her because you know it's going to be minimized. That's what they do.

I know you do. Trust me, I do. But please please don't say anything that's going to wind up getting you hurt, alright? That'd be the last thing that she'd want.

People will find out. They'll know what really happened soon enough.

No, I wouldn't say anything. I suppose the people who care about her know and that's enough, at least for now. I'll be fine, so long as I report on all things purist and wrong. I hate my job.

How much do you know about the technical aspect of the way the radio works? How far the transition can go and how to increase the space the signal can cover and all that?

I know a fair bit. They don't usually include me in that aspect but I have a few mates that work behind the scenes and I've picked up some things here and there.

Why do you ask?

I've got a friend who's got some junky radio equipment sitting around, and basically just knows how to turn it on and off and... that's it. Ideally, her husband's birthday's coming up and it'd be pretty cool if she could figure out how to tap in over all the broadcasts at once to play something for him, but that'd probably be pushing it.

Oh, nifty. It sounds like something that's doable, though it's beyond my range of knowledge. I bet I can get something from Roland about it. He's one of those types who gets over-excited when someone shows interest in his work so I'll see if I can get you an answer either way.

If you can find out, that would be totally brill. Anything that would involve extending the range even a little bit would be a big help.

Hi, Marlene. I'm sorry I haven't spoken to you much lately, but I was just thinking of you earlier today and I meant to tell you that I have Dedalus' puppy in case you were wondering about Sammie's puppies and he's still kind of sick but he's getting better and if you want to bring Sammie and Lady over sometimes it might do him some good, too. Al and Sammie and Lady and Sir Galileo could have a bit of fun or something. Whenever. We could have ice cream or cake or something, too.

And that got long and rambly, sorry.

It's alright. Things've been kinda... crazy lately.

I'm so glad to hear he's okay. Thank you for taking care of him.

And it's okay. I encourage other people to ramble right now because I can not.
