Everybody dies.
We live long enough to make other people hurt like hell when we die, and that's life. They had waffles at breakfast and I feel like it was somehow on purpose although I don't know why it would be. I had toast instead. It's all still too soon to be a nice reminder, and every time anyone is mentioned it's this awful jarring reminder that Ted is gone, and Caradoc is gone, and Dumbledore is gone, and if we were losing the war before, we've flat out lost now.
I'm trying to not let myself be sad yet. I'm actually okay for once after a fight, and I can help people get out of here, and then... I don't know. We'll figure out where to go from there.
We'd asked him to be our secret keeper. I guess it's for the best that we never got around to it, but I'm still glad we had the chance to ask. Marius looked afraid of me. I want to think that Doc would've been proud.
God Dumbledore left us a fuck lot of money.
Everyone, I think we're going to be heading out to the tunnel soon, so if you are ready and able, please start gathering your stuff and heading up to the fourth floor. Those of you who are helping apparate the injured, meet up with the Healers, they can tell you who to help out. We've got stretcherssort ofso we can work with that. We want EVERYONE to be up there in 50 MINUTES, so PLEASE try to be prompt. We've got a short window of time here if we want to make sure this works.
No one go into the tunnel until we give the signal that it's okay to Go Forth, which will happen as soon as we hear back from my contacts on the outside. As long as we all work fast and together this should work out completely according to plan. We apparate out to the hotel, and everyone should check in with Frank and Alice Longbottom as soon as we're there. Once we're all at the hotel and accounted for, we can figure out where to go from there. PLEASE no one attempt anything crazy or heroic or dumb this time, this is something solid that'll get us all out safely, and that is priority number one.
Thank you, it's been a pleasure working with you all, and I think we can all make this work.
