Anybody know what's going on with this Foundation thing that's on the radio? I can't figure out if it's for real or if it's something they're staging to try to make the resistance types look like evil devil horned villains, and I'd go investigate myself but I haven't had the best of luck with Diagon Alley lately, so no thank you.

If it is for real, they've probably got all the Death Eater types nice and distracted at the moment. I say we make things worse for them while the opportunity is here.

I love spring.

Couldn't get Gus to stay still enough to take pictures of, though, unfortunately. He's getting so big. I'm glad that he's finally realised that Sammie Lennon and Lady are not for eating.

I say we go after the "Rehabilitation" Centre while they're not looking. And if all the "redeemed" dark creatures are shockingly not there when the place goes kaboom, proof positive that they whole thing is full of lies.

Pretty sure it's an extra wing they built onto it, yeah.

We won't know if we don't try. It'd be too dangerous to go in as patients, but maybe we could get in posing as Healers somehow.

Hopefully no one will be like "HEALER ANDREWS, thank goodness! You're needed in room 42 for a procedure immediately!" while we are all attempting to investigate things.

Was taking a nap, am reading this now. I don't know how much things have changed since I've not been there, but procedure shouldn't be too different, depending on what's being done.

Awesome.

Do they give their employees and trainees, like... layouts or maps of where everything in the hospital is, so that you don't get lost while picking up supplies and such? Obviously you and Beth wouldn't know where the new wing is, but maybe we can get the guys to do one of those maps like they have of Diagon for the parts of it that we DO know, and then when people disappear off the map, we could maybe tell where the new part of it is.

They don't, but the layout is pretty basic, with some exceptions depending on the floor (for example, some floors have a couple of rooms that are larger or have special wards on them for different cases). I have no idea about the new wing, though. I could probably draw a map of the Spell Damage floor that could easily be copied for the other floors...I mean, the differences aren't that great.

Anything would be better than what we're working off of now, I would think.

I'm working double shifts right now since they've got half Law Enforcement Squad standing guard around the thing 24/7. We're just told it's a hostage situation and it's the Army of Albion in league with foreign terrorists.

I don't know what's going on.

...hm. I have no idea then, because half the time the "foreign terrorists" are the old Ministry and half the time it's a cover up for things the Death Eaters do and half the time it's stuff that we did and that is too many halves but whatever.

Are they giving you guys any sort of heads up about potential retaliation?

Seems to me like it's their way of trying to discredit Albion of what they're claiming to be.

Mulciber's been more than mum on it, which makes us ridiculously useless. We're just supposed to "keep guard" or something until a solution has been determined, which makes me think we're just here for show.

And paint themselves as the saviours of humanity yet again. Pardon me while I vomit.

Clearly you should be using this time to send incredibly sympathetic form letters to the families of the "hostages."

Times like these I love you. Excuse me while I go write passive-aggressively to Mulciber.

Later

He wasn't too pleased about my suggestion of form letters. "Letters will not be necessary, as most people with a captive relative has realised that their respective relative has been missing for half a week."

And we're still told nothing more, which means (I'm assuming) the Death Eaters are dealing with it or we'd actually be doing something.

You should ruffle his hair and ask him how a disembowelling little shit like him managed to get his job with zero experience.

Someday, if I have him under my wand, I will.

Until then I'll just keep reminding him I know more about this job than he does.

Oh my god. That is going on my list: Ruffle Entrail Boy's Hair. And then kick him in the crotch.

Always a good plan. Also if any opportunity comes up to where you can get him dirty and make it look like an accident, do that.
